Penile implant surgery is an important decision. No one is too old to be evaluated for this procedure. But achieving the optimum results depends on upon the selection of penile prosthesis best suited for each patient. There are some important factors which are considered while choosing a penile implant for a patient:

How and what device is used for Penile Implant Surgery?

Through a 3-4 cms incision at the level of penis and scrotum, small openings are made on both carpora cavernosa and after taking accurate measurement (length) implants are selected and placed along with the pump.

How long does the penile implant procedure take to complete?

This procedure takes approximately 1.30 hours to 2 hours.

Will I have normal feelings after implant?

The penile implant does not interfere with the natural feelings. This device has nothing to do with the ejaculation or orgasm.

Does a penis with implant look and feel like a natural erection?

Penile Implant Surgery is not noticeable when your penis is flaccid. Your partner would not be able to make out that you have had an implant in your penis unless you tell her.

What if I get an infection after the procedure?
